Chief Executive Officer
As the area chief executive officer for the Fort Worth market, Janell oversees the daily operations of our HealthSouth Fort Worth and HealthSouth City View hospitals. She received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Bringing more than 23 years of experience in health care leadership in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, she held positions with Baylor Health Care System, Tenet Health, Dallas Children’s and Cook Children’s. Janell is committed to ensuring an excellent experience for patients and families by providing ongoing support to the outstanding clinicians and staff at our HealthSouth City View and Fort Worth hospitals.
Patrick Donovan, M.D.
Dr. Donovan became the medical director for HealthSouth Fort Worth in 1995. As medical director, he is responsible for the care and treatment of patients who have experienced multiple trauma, fractures, head injuries, strokes and other musculoskeletal types of injuries. Dr. Donovan began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1992 after completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.
Patrick Donovan, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Director of Plant Operations
Mark joined HealthSouth in 2016 as the director of plant operations at the historic Fort Worth location. He has more than 20 years of facilities experience with 10 of those years in a healthcare facility. A native Texan and Navy veteran, Mark has experience in facilities ranging from historic to new construction and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Chief Nursing Officer
Mary is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse® with extensive nursing and leadership experience. She returned to HealthSouth Forth Worth in March 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science (nursing) from Texas Woman’s University. She is responsible for the supervision of nursing personnel and the delivery of quality care to all our patients and family.
Director of Quality/Risk Management
Marcy brings more than 25 years of healthcare management and clinical experience to the role of director of quality/risk management at HealthSouth Fort Worth. During her career she has served as a lead respiratory therapist, director of cardio-pulmonary neurodiagnostic services, infection control practitioner, employee health practitioner and quality coordinator. She received her undergraduate degree from North Texas State University in Microbiology and a master’s degree in business administration from Ashford University.
Area Chief Financial Officer
Sherry has served as chief financial officer at HealthSouth Fort Worth since 2006. Previously, she worked for the State of West Virginia at Bateman Hospital as chief financial officer and equal employment opportunity (EEO) counselor. Sherry graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting.
Tara Kleas, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHHR
Area Director of Human Resources
Tara joined HealthSouth in 2007 and serves as a resource to all employees and enjoys recruiting new talent to HealthSouth. She received her master's degree in healthcare human resources and a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Southwest Texas State University. Tara also holds a Sr. Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR), a SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification (SHRM-SCP) and the Certified in Healthcare Human Resources credentials (CHHR).
Sara C. Robison, PharmD
Director of Pharmacy
Sara joined HealthSouth Fort Worth as director of pharmacy in 2008. She has extensive experience in retail pharmacy as well as hospital pharmacy and pharmacy management. Sara is an active member of the Texas Pharmacy Association, Tarrant County Pharmacy Association, The American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Honor Society. She received her undergraduate education from Angelo State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech University.
Robert C. Treadwell, D.O.
Internal Medicine Program Medical Director
Dr. Treadwell is the internal medicine program medical director and president of the Medical Staff/Medical Executive Committee. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Treadwell completed his internship and residency at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and is also a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Dr. Robert Treadwell is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Area Director of Marketing Operations (Fort Worth and City View)
As the director of marketing operations, Kendal brings more than 10 years of accomplished healthcare marketing and business development experience to HealthSouth. Kendal originally started her healthcare marketing career with HealthSouth's outpatient rehabilitation locations in Fort Worth and Arlington in 2003. Kendal grew up in Amarillo and moved to Dallas/Fort Worth in 2002. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications.
Director of Case Management
As the director of case management, Yvonne serves as an advocate for patients and families throughout the interdisciplinary environment. Having joined HealthSouth Fort Worth in 2011, she brings more than 25 years of case management experience to the diverse patient population served at the hospital. Yvonne obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from Tabor College, and her master’s degree in social work administration from The University of Kansas. She has served the inpatient rehabilitation setting since 2003 and holds an ACM certification through the American Case Management Society.
Natasha Woolery, PT
Director of Therapy Operations
Natasha joined HealthSouth in December 2010. Prior to her role as director of therapy operations at HealthSouth, she worked as a physical therapist at Parkland Health and Hospital System for more than six years and as director of rehabilitation for Peoplefirst Rehab, a division of Kindred Healthcare. Natasha graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in community health in 1996. She obtained her degree in physical therapy from UT Southwestern Medical School in 1998.
